Korshøjgaard is situated on a hill overlooking beautifuls fields and marsh. In the evening we have (in clear weather) the beautiful starry sky, which you wont find in the big cities! Close by is the Suså river , where its possible to rent a canoe or just sit and enjoy the nature and bird life. If you like swimming and sailing the beach ( Karrebæksminde ) is about 20 km away, or Herlufmagle open air bathing which is 5 km from here. Golf courses are also nearby at Næstved and Sorø. If you would like to enjoy a small provincial town Glumsø is close by with all shopping possibilitys. If you prefer a large town or city, Næstved is just 10 minutes drive from here where you have the large shopping center and Bilka supermarket. Or you can drive to Ringsted about 15 minutes away which also has many shops including Føtex.
